Who wouldn't benefit from a little bit of self-love? My observation is that it's not uncommon for people to spend more time in well intentioned self-sabotage than self-love, and it would be wise to shift that pattern. All of our experiences start from within, on a vibrational level. In fact, most illness or disease patterns have been around on an energetic (Qi) level long before showing up as symptoms in the physical body. This is why the ancient Chinese doctors were paid to prevent disease and would be fired if illness arose- they could detect disease in the subtle shifts in the pulse before it ever materialized in the body. Just as we train our muscles to be strong, we can train our beings to resonate in self-love. And when we shift our basic resonance to self-love, our bodies start to relax and we have harmonious communication between the internal organs. In Chinese medicine we say that the Heart is the Emperor, and therefore rules over all of the other organs. Of course, we all know that the heart is the place where we feel love, and it must begin with ourselves.
"If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world."
